Bringing Water Banner

One of the most essential activities for the 21st century and beyond is the bringing of clean fresh water to the areas of the world that are lacking in this natural resource.

Bringing Water’s goal is to tap into the vast fresh water resources that currently just flow into the ocean and become salty and unusable for human or animal consumption. Even just part of this water captured and delivered to the areas of the world in the most need will work wonders in the lives of the people receiving this water.

Clean fresh water is a resource that is essential to the life of every person on planet earth. It is also essential to the quality of life and the provision of a prosperous future.

Water is a resource that no government or authority has the right to deny or restrict access to for any individual for their individual or family needs. Governments and authorities have the duty to ensure that water is given first to people for their survival and use in everyday life. They also have a duty to ensure that controls on the commercial use of fresh water do not restrict or deny the individual their access to water.

Iceland to Africa

An example of a possible proposal for Bringing Water are the vast quantities of potable water that flow off daily from glacial melt and natural springs in Iceland.

The nearest country in dire need of water is Africa so the proposal could be to install a pipeline from Iceland (or Greenland) to the Cape Verde and/or the Canary Islands and then from there distribute to African nations by secondary pipelines.

The distance from Iceland is about 6000Km which will require numerous subsea pumping stations along the way.

This proposal would not be feasible using current remote pumping technology however, Arrathir Business Group proposes a new type of pumping station which would make this possible.

There are many locations where abundant fresh water is lost to the sea. The ability to pump water over such long distances will make them viable as a sources of clean, fresh water.
